1. Operator and scope
This notice covers cookies and storage used by www.qrmenu.it. The controller is HighTech S.a.s., Corso Garibaldi 177, 80070 Monte di Procida (NA), VAT no. 09444851217. Contact: info@hightechsas.it. For other processing, see thePrivacy notice.
2. Cookies and local storage explained
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website stores in the browser and receives again on subsequent visits. Session storage and other technologies can keep information in the browser without sending it as cookies. Classification depends on the actual purpose, not just the tool’s name.
Technical cookies provide a requested function or keep the website secure and working. Non-essential tools, such as advertising profiling or non-technical tracking, require a prior choice where required by law.
3. Tools in the public configuration
pll_language — a first-party cookie set by QRMenu through Polylang. It stores the selected language; the maximum observed duration is one year. Category: functional language preference.
wpEmojiSettingsSupports — technical WordPress session storage, if run by the browser, to remember character and emoji support. It is limited to the tab session, with cache validity checked by WordPress code. It is not an advertising identifier.
WordPress restricted access — logged-in users may have authentication and admin preference cookies, with names beginning wordpress_, wordpress_sec_, wordpress_logged_in_ and wp-settings-. Their duration depends on the cookie type and login options; they are not needed by visitors browsing public pages without signing in.
Google Analytics 4 (tag G-1945N59S9H) loads only after you accept statistics. It measures page visits and interactions such as opening the demo, clicking the phone number and submitting enquiries. First-party _ga and _ga_* cookies are configured for 180 days, renewable on visits with consent. The consent preference is held in local storage as qrmenu_consent_v1 for 180 days. No advertising pixels are enabled. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in the tag. QR codes and previews are images hosted on the website: viewing them does not automatically open the demo restaurant. WPForms’ own telemetry is disabled; any enquiry submission event sent to Google Analytics depends on consent and does not contain the message or completed fields. The form retains the functions needed to validate and send the enquiry.
4. Optional statistics: Google Analytics 4
Provider and purpose: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics 4, identified by tag G-1945N59S9H, helps us understand which pages are visited and which functions interest visitors. It may measure page views, session starts, scrolling and interactions with the demo, phone and contact form.
_ga cookie: a first-party pseudonymous identifier allowing Analytics to distinguish browsers. _ga_1945N59S9H cookie: Analytics session state. These are optional statistics cookies configured for a duration of 180 days, renewable on subsequent visits with consent. The website does not activate them before statistics are accepted.
qrmenu_consent_v1 preference: first-party local storage needed to remember acceptance or refusal, with the date of the choice and a validity of 180 days. It is not an advertising cookie and contains neither form fields nor call content.
Data and retention: pseudonymous identifiers, device information, pages and interactions are not necessarily anonymous data. The property retains event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, resetting on new activity. Retention controls do not apply to most standard aggregated reports. Data processed by Google are not stored exclusively in HighTech’s Italian data centre: recipients, safeguards for any transfers outside the EEA and rights are described in thePrivacy notice. Also see the Google Privacy Policy.
Free choice: we do not load the Analytics tag before consent. Refusing statistics does not prevent use of the website. Cookie acceptance and consent to recording the phone trial are separate choices. The Search Console verification tag does not install visit-tracking cookies.
5. Contact form and external services
The form is managed with WPForms and sends the data needed to handle your enquiry to HighTech. In the configuration checked, the persistent _wpfuuid identifier is not enabled and no external CAPTCHAs are loaded. A plugin’s code containing functions available in other configurations does not mean they are active on this website.
Links to the demo restaurant, company website, phone and any external channels lead to a different environment only when you choose to use them. That environment’s own privacy and cookie information applies. Consent to call recording is not collected through cookies: for the phone demo, see the relevant section in theprivacy notice.
6. Consent and preferences
Tools strictly technical or needed for the requested function do not require prior consent under Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. Optional statistics require your consent: the panel makes accepting and refusing equally easy. The Google tag does not load without acceptance.
You can change or withdraw your choice using the Cookie preferences button in the footer of every page. Withdrawal stops subsequent measurement and removes Analytics cookies accessible to the website, without affecting earlier consent. Refusal does not restrict menus, contact or demos. The choice is requested again after 180 days or if you delete website data.
7. Deleting or blocking cookies
You can use your browser settings, under Privacy, Cookies or Site data, to view, delete or block cookies from www.qrmenu.it. To remove local technical storage as well, use the website data deletion function. Closing a tab normally removes its session storage.
Blocking necessary cookies may prevent the selected language being remembered or access to the restricted area. Deleting browser cookies does not delete messages already sent or recordings of a trial: contact the controller about those data.
